課程概述

Christine Korsgaard’s philosophical goal is to justify that moral requirements are the requirements that every possible rational being has reason to comply with. To do this, she provides a three-phased argument. This course will mainly concern with the argument for the publicity of reasons in the third phase.

課程目標
Comprehend Korsgaard’s ethical thoughts, evaluate her argument for the publicity of reasons, and try to respond to other philosophers’ objections to that argument.
